Batista’s Production Company Signs Big First-Look Contract

According to Deadline, Filmation Entertainment’s new production label, Infrared, and Dave Bautista’s production company Dogbone Entertainment have agreed to a first-look agreement. As part of the agreement, the two businesses would collaborate to produce and develop a wide range of projects, the majority of which would star Dave Bautista.

Dave Bautista’s production company Dogbone Entertainment has signed a first look deal with Filmation Entertainment’s new production label, Infrared. The deal would see the two companies work together on producing and developing many different projects, most starring Dave Bautista. Infrared President of Production Drew Simon and Dave Bautista have worked together in the past on the family action comedy “My Spy” for STX.

Filmation Associates was an American production company that produced animation and live-action programming for television from 1963 until 1989. It appears that they are revamping the brand for a new journey with The Animal.

Dave Bautista and Infrared President of Production Drew Simon previously collaborated on the STX family comedy-action film “My Spy.” Filmation is handling the foreign sales for Paul W. S. Anderson’s movie In the Lost Lands, starring Dave Bautista and Milla Jovovich and adapted from a narrative by the author of Game of Thrones, George R. R. Martin.

Dave Bautista recently made an appearance in Knives Out 2: Glass Onion on Netflix. In May 2023, he will make an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which will be his final movie in the MCU for the time being. Dave Bautista is presently filming the second installment of Dune for Warner Bros. Discovery.
