Eryk Anders competes in the UFC’s Middleweight division. He has an outstanding 14-win, 6-loss professional MMA record. Eryk appears to be more interested in acting nowadays since he recently stated that he intends to continue acting following his debut in Cobra Kai.
Anders was so impressed with his “Cobra Kai” debut that he intends to continue acting if the perfect opportunities arise. He told TMZ Sports that it’s “less hazardous” than fighting MMA. Anders was seen fighting in the Netflix series’ new season, which was released earlier this month.
Anders performed great in his first role. Even he believes this, telling the outlet that despite being a fighter in the world’s biggest MMA promotion, he sees himself acting more in the future. “I’d love to,” Anders said, “if the right opportunities present itself.”
Timing is everything. It’s a lot less hazardous to my health as well. As you can see my nose is crooked.
After he gets his nose fixed and takes down the gloves, the 35-year-old already knows who he wants to work with. “Maybe something with The Rock,” Anders said, “he seems to be the guy like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of now.”
All his movies seem to pretty surefire that it’s gonna be a good movie. I think it would be kinda hard to bus with The Rock. I think that’d be dope.
That’s not a knock on the Cobra Kai actors, such as William Zabka, who plays Johnny Lawrence; in fact, Anders is a fan of the ‘Karate Kid’ legend. “It was cool. It was quite an experience. I watched all the ‘Karate Kid’ as a kid growing up,” he said.
For the time being, Anders’ fights will take place in the UFC Octagon, where he will meet Kyle Daukaus in Orlando on December 3. Let’s see where his acting career takes him next. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
