Lil Baby is currently one of Hip-Hop’s most well-known rappers, and he is in high demand among fans. He appears to have recently disappointed his supporters. Lil failed to appear at Vancouver’s Festival Breakout, which enraged his followers to the brink of rioting.
TMZ reports, that Lil Baby sparked a riot at Vancouver’s Breakout Festival, which is not unusual for festivals. The headlining rapper was nowhere to be seen onstage or around the venue. After realizing that Baby had canceled his set at the last minute, fans utterly destroyed sections of the PNE Amphitheater on Sunday.
In several parts, the sight resembled a combat zone. Angry fans set fire to tents, while others toppled food stands and garbage dumpsters. The mob even infiltrated a tent at one point, leaving no TV monitor standing and with little care for the smashed glass that was tossed around.
Baby was the show’s top performer on Sunday. Fellow rappers Polo G, Cordae, Coi Leray, Babyface Ray, and others served as backup, and as you can see, were heavily promoted by the festival as a big draw. Lil Baby issued a long apology on Instagram on Monday, stating his body gave up on him after his summer tour with Chris Brown, and he sought the pardon of Vancouver, Breakout Fest, and all the people in attendance.
He should have included the cleanup staff on that list as well. Fans must have been exhausted after receiving so many apology texts and videos from rappers for canceling their shows. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
