Michael Jordan is certainly one of the most iconic basketball players to have ever stepped foot inside a basketball court. He is also no stranger to setting records. It seems. Michael Jordan’s unique ticket stub for his debut could sell for a lot as well.
Jordan is still the king when it comes to being the richest NBA star in the history of the sport. He earned more in his business ventures than he did during his time as an active NBA player. His net worth was said to be over $2 billion.
According to TMZ Sports ,a pair of tickets that were once used by fans to go see Michael Jordan’s NBA debut game have just hit the auction block. They are expected to sell for a lot of money.
The tickets were redeemed way back on Oct. 26, 1984 when Jordan made his debut for the Chicago Bulls and are still intact.
Officials at Bonhams, which is hosting the auction, anticipate they’ll sell for anywhere between $200K and $300K..
On one of the tickets, the words “Michael Jordan’s first game” are inscribed on the front. On the other ticket, “Michael Jordan’s first game” is written on the back. We’ll have to see how much it will sell for in the end.
