Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears landed in hot water recently when an unnamed woman filed a lawsuit against them. She accused them of molesting her and her brother and even claimed they sexually abused her brother.
Haddish and Spears can take a sigh of relief, however, as Jane Doe has decided to drop the suit. TMZ revealed the court documents that the plaintiff recently filed. In the filing, she asked the judge to dismiss the case with prejudice.
This means that she can no longer file the case again. Jane Doe also put out a statement that acknowledged that Tiffany Haddish would never do anything that would harm her and her brother.
My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.
The woman had nothing to say about Spears in the statement for unknown reasons. Aries Spears was accused of pretty serious things too, though he is also no longer dealing with the legal threat anymore.
Jane Doe initially accused the duo of grooming and molesting them while they were part of a Funny or Die skit. The duo fired back by saying that it was an attempt at a shakedown, though Tiffany Haddish later said that she has regret about being part of the sketch.
