John Cena was the undisputed leader of WWE for more than a decade. Cena carried the company to greater heights and became hugely popular with younger audiences during the process. Cena is known for his selfless and philanthropic causes as well. He just set a new record through the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Guinness World Records reported that Cena set a new world record for the most wishes granted through the non-profit organization, granting 650 wishes to date – the most in Make-A-Wish’s 42-year existence. Cena had this to say to Reuters when he granted his 500th wish.

“If you ever need me for this ever, I don’t care what I’m doing, I will drop what I’m doing and be involved because I think that’s the coolest thing. I just drop everything. If I can offer a fantastic experience, I’ll be first in line to do my part.”

Cena has flown to different parts of the world to meet young fans diagnosed with critical illness in the past. The 16-time world champion is currently filming a second season for HBO’s Peacemaker.
