Johnny Depp Dating Married Lawyer Who Helped Him In His U.K. Libel Trial

Johnny Depp made a lot of headlines during his long legal battle with Amber Heard, and people began to believe that the actor was dating one of his trial attorneys. Fans were correct to speculate that Johnny was dating one of his attorneys, but they failed to identify who.

Us Weekly reports that Johnny Depp is dating lawyer Joelle Rich, who defended him in his libel battle against The Sun. “Their chemistry is off the charts,” an insider told the outlet of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and the lawyer. “It’s serious between them. They are the real deal.”

Rich was one of the attorneys who worked on Depp’s libel case against the UK newspaper after he sued the publication in 2018. She was not, however, a member of his legal team that defended him in his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard earlier this year. She was present in the Virginia courthouse, however, to offer her “support” for the Oscar nominee.

“There was no professional obligation for her being there. It was personal,” the source informed the outlet, adding that the duo “discreetly” met up in hotels during the early stages of their romance. According to the source, Rich was married when she met Depp, but she is now divorcing him. She and her ex-husband have two children.

During his defamation lawsuit against Heard, reports circulated that the Hollywood Vampires musician was dating one of the attorneys assisting him in that case, Camille Vasquez.
