Britney Spears has endured many hardships and emotional suffering over the past few years due to her 13-year conservatorship. Last year, she was eventually released from conservatorship and is now leading the life she’s always desired. However, according to reports, Spears might create new music with the producer of her hit single ‘Circus’, Benny Blanco.
The pop star linked up with Blanco back in 2008 to record the hit track from the successful album of the same name. According to TMZ, he has now announced that he has reached out to Britney in anticipation that they would be able to collaborate once more.
“I actually recently just reached out to try to start working on some stuff. Like a month ago. I hope [to work with Britney] soon… We were talking about trying to do something. I love her new things she put out. She’s incredible. I hope she is doing it.”
The “…Baby One More Time” hitmaker hasn’t put out a full album since 2016’s “Glory,” but in August, she collaborated with fellow singing legend Sir Elton John to release Hold Me Closer, which went on to reach the top 10 for the first time in a decade.
This news, however, comes only a few days after Britney, who has completed ten headlining tours and a four-year Las Vegas residency since starting her musical career as a teen back in 1998, said she “won’t probably perform” live again because she has been “pretty traumatized for life.” Spears lamented her previous experiences as a touring musician and the amount of work needed to prepare for each show in a long post that has since been deleted.
