DaBaby is in the headlines yet again, in the midst of yet another controversy. This time, it’s his love life. On his new project, “Baby 2 Baby,” the rapper made a claim regarding a dalliance with none other than Megan Thee Stallion.
The claim was made on DaBaby’s track, “Boogeyman,” wherein the rapper claims that “The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, [DaBaby] was f**kin on Megan Thee Stallion.”
Now, Megan herself has addressed the controversial lyric, in her own trademark no-BS style. Megan shared her thoughts during her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Saturday night.
So, look. I don’t know about y’all, but I love my body. I do what I want to with my body, when I want to with my body, with who I want to with my body.
Megan’s retort immediately shut down the gossip-mongers, as the crowd erupted in cheers at her affirming message, as Megan said, “My body…oh okay. If you love your body, let me hear you make some noise.”
It seems that Megan’s actions fully back up her words as well, as the rapper has recently launched a mental health initiative titled, “Bad B**ches Have Bad Days Too.” The project is aimed at redirecting people to the mental health resources they need.
It is certainly heartening to see an icon of the industry spread such a positive message, and respond to controversy with such an apologetic attitude.
