Shania Twain Covers Up With Only A Cowboy Hat At 57-Year-Old

Shania Twain’s life could make a hell of a country music song. In fact, there’s so much material it could make several great country music songs. Shania recently participated in a topless picture shoot to declare to the world that she is “comfortable” in her own skin.

The 57-year-old singer looked sensational as she posed in just a pair of heeled boots and fringed skirt, using her hands and a cowboy hat to protect her modesty. After four decades in the industry, the Canadian singer revealed that she no longer cares what anyone has to say about her and wanted to promote self-love and acceptance. 

Shania told The Sun, “I styled that photograph myself. It was all about taking off the bra, taking off the shirt, tying the shirt around my waist.” She added, “This is a statement of being comfortable in my own skin and just being really myself.”

When she was asked about the criticism stars such as Madonna get for donning racy ensembles, Shania hit back, “You have to be strong. I never really get angry with criticism. You can’t please everybody, that’s normal.” The racy shoot comes as Shania prepares to take on a new role, taking on the part of Mrs. Potts in ABC’s Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration special.
