Aspen Ladd was once seen as a UFC star with the potential to become huge. However, she is reportedly no longer with the company after she didn’t meet the weight requirement for an upcoming fight.

MMA Fighting reported the news on Tuesday after the UFC Roster Watch account tweeted that the star is no longer on the official UFC women’s bantamweight rankings database.

Ladd hasn’t made a public statement announcing her departure. However, she made an Instagram post that vaguely hints at her starting a new chapter in her life, hinting that she’s left the UFC.

Here’s to many more years with my little monster…and the next huge milestone in my own life that she will be there for ❤️ #grateful

Aspen was set to fight Sara McMann at UFC Fight Night 210. She pulled out of the match, which led to a rebooking. The fighter clocked in at 138 pounds during her weight check in Las Vegas. She missed the mark for the third time in her UFC career, and fourth one overall.

The former UFC star has a history of missing the mark on the scale. Previously in September 2018, she missed weight prior to her fight with Leslie Smith, to which Smith decided to withdraw citing that she wouldn’t miss an overweight opponent.
