Kanye West & James Blake Tease New Music In London

Kanye West has been concentrating on internally developing the Yeezy brand. Ye’ has stopped releasing new songs since releasing his eleventh studio album DONDA 2 in February and going through a public divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The DONDA creator recently previewed new songs while rocking a pair of bejeweled flip-flops.

During a recent trip to the UK for London Fashion Week, the “Praise God” rapper gave fans a special gift when he premiered a few brand-new tracks. Singer/songwriter James Blake produced the untitled tunes. Blake also took to Twitter to share a clip of Kanye showering the crowd with their unheard music.

The 34-year-old star, who has collaborated with everyone from Kendrick Lamar to Beyonce, has long expressed a desire to work with Kanye. Kanye was originally supposed to be a part of the project, but it never materialized. “Something was supposed to happen; I don’t really know how to describe how that didn’t work out. I wanted Kanye to be on the song ‘Timeless’, but the verse didn’t materialize.”

Ye made news this week for wearing bejeweled flip-flops and socks to the Burberry show during London Fashion Week in addition to promising new music. The bizarre incident occurs just after the entrepreneur openly criticized GAP and Adidas in an effort to sever his relationship with both companies. Check out the tweet below.
