Jen Shah is a versatile personality who frequently considered multiplying up her money. But her propensity led her in the wrong direction, towards fraud. Recently, Jen appeared to bring the subject of money; in an early “RHOSLC” interview, Jen Shah bragged about earning “millions.”
Page six reports that Jen Shah, a known scammer, spoke about earning “millions” in an interview for Season 1 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” On December 9, 2019, in confessional, the 48-year-old Bravo star in hot water boasted.
“What I’ve done for the last 20 years is direct response marketing. I make millions.”
“Hey, you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do for money. I’m like the Wizard of Oz.”
Shah’s Instagram bio still mentions “Direct Response Marketing,” which is noteworthy. Three years have changed Shah’s life as well as the lives of her co-stars Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, and Whitney Rose, as shown in the opening two minutes of Wednesday’s “RHOSLC” Season 3 debut.
Of course, the focus of the upcoming episode of the popular reality show will be Shah’s fraud case. Jen acknowledged in another place that her continuing legal crisis is wearing her down.
“Our time is coming. I just can’t lie to you. This is a test for all of us.”
“I want to f–king kill myself and just not be here. Everything’s been taken away from me. Everything!”
Jen is accused of using a nationwide telemarketing scam to defraud hundreds of people out of their money, primarily elderly people. Her arrest in March 2021 was covered by “RHOSLC.” Jen changed her earlier not guilty plea to a guilty one in July when she appeared before US District Judge Sidney Stein in Manhattan federal court.
According to Jen’s plea deal, she could spend up to 14 years in jail and must pay up to $9.5 million in reparations. The reality star will be sentenced on November 28. Previously, she had maintained her innocence in court and on “RHOSLC.” Jen has been able to rely on her co-stars Marks and Gay who met her in New York City before her pre-trial hearing, throughout everything.
“Jen and I are still speaking. And more than ever, I think she probably needs some support from people around her.”
“It is still an open case. She has not been sentenced, so it’s nothing she can speak freely about. So that’s why I would never ask any questions either — because I know she can’t talk about it.”
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 3 premieres Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. What’s your take on Jen Shah’s statement about making money? Let us know in the comments. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
