The LAPD recently named a suspect in the death of PnB Rock. The suspect was the mastermind, and his son was the killer. Cops have now arrested the son while his father is still on the run.
TMZ reports, cops confirmed Wednesday morning that Freddie Lee Trone is the man detectives have identified as “a person involved” in the rapper’s September 12th slaying as he sat in a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles. However, the earlier issued photo of Trone did not confirm whether he is the lone person wanted in the case.
After PnB was shot and declared dead, police said a getaway car was waiting outside the L.A. restaurant. The attacker fled with several gold and diamond chains that the Philadelphia MC was wearing while eating lunch with his girlfriend. Police asked the public to call 911 if they see Trone or have any information on his whereabouts.
Law enforcement sources now reported that Freddie Trone’s 17-year-old son was arrested in connection with the incident. The shooter was the son, and Freddie drove the getaway car. The father and son duo were already in the restaurant’s parking lot when PnB arrived, eliminating the possibility that PnB was targeted because of a social media post from his girlfriend showing them eating at Roscoe’s.
The suspects allegedly burned the getaway car after the murder. At the very least, the killer has been arrested, and hopefully, justice will be served. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
