Kanye West Hints At Balenciaga Runway Show

Kanye West is going through a lot as of late, the rapper is at war with his business partners. He also seems to be still not over losing Kim Kardashian. However, the rapper managed to find some time away from all the controversy surrounding him to post a new update for fans on Instagram.

West teased Balenciaga’s upcoming runway show for their Summer 2023 collection with his Instagram following on Wednesday. The 45-year-old rapper, who previously worked with the high-end clothing brand, posted a picture of a scuffed-up vehicle with the details about the event scrawled on the hood and window.

It read ‘Balenciaga’ followed by ‘Summer 23 collection. Oct. 2nd, 2022 11:30 AM ET on Balenciaga.com.’ Kanye shared the photo to his Instagram story during the afternoon. The businessman previously collaborated with Balenciaga on the ‘Yeezy GAP engineered by Balenciaga’ collection, which released its second drop last week

Sweaters, puffy jackets and other pieces/accessories from the collection retail for upwards of $80, according to the website. According to Vogue Business, Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia worked alongside the rapper, now known as Ye, to deliver ‘his vision of utilitarian design for all.

The line was released back in July though Kanye recently announced an end to his contract with Gap. Entrepreneur reported, it was supposed to be a 10-year deal, but he ended the partnership last week after just two years. Stay tuned to Thirsty for further updates.
