Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett who just crashed his Porsche in a terrifying accident has been formally ruled out of this Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. According to reports, he is still too injured to participate.
According to TMZ, in the incident on Monday, Garrett hurt his shoulder and bicep. Although he said on Friday that he’s feeling much better, it is clear that he isn’t yet ready to return to the field.
Garrett stated to the police that he was driving at a speed of 65 MPH in a 45 MPH zone and received a ticket for failure to control his car. He assured reporters he will focus on driving more safely after committing multiple recent speeding offenses.
The Browns will need to try to move up to 3-1 without its defensive captain in Atlanta against a Falcons team that has a number of offensive weapons and has averaged 26.6 points through three games this season.
The accident was severe since Garrett’s Porsche 911 Turbo S overturned multiple times before stopping. However, he is thankful to be alive and says he’s glad the accident wasn’t worse.
