Vanilla Ice Pauses Tour In Reaction To Coolio’s Death

Coolio rose to prominence as a member of the Gangsta rap group WC and the Maad Circle, alongside WC and Crazy Toones. The rapper died unexpectedly, and the entire world continues to mourn his untimely demise.

Coolio died in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The rapper who rose to fame in the 1990s was visiting a friend late Wednesday afternoon when he died. Coolio’s longtime manager, Jarez, stated that Coolio went to the bathroom at his friend’s house but when he didn’t return after a while, the friend kept calling for him and ultimately walked in and found Coolio laying on the floor.

Coolio was pronounced dead on the scene when the friend called EMTs. While speaking to TMZ, Vanilla Ice became emotional recalling his last conversation with Coolio.

He added that he put a brief hold on his tour following the rapper’s death. Coolio’s kids were on his mind the last time they hung out.

Ice also stated he’s taking the weekend off from performing after learning about his friend’s death, because he doesn’t think he’s in the right mindset to put on a show.

Haddaway is also planning a huge tribute show for Coolio in Germany. We will have to wait and see how the concert will turn out to be.
