Herschel Walker is the attention of millions of fans due to his incredible running moves. Walker made headlines this time around, but not for the reasons you may think. Recently Herschel Walker has been accused of funding a woman for an abortion.
Herschel Walker, a former NFL great and “pro-life” Senate candidate, has been accused of paying for a woman’s abortion in 2009. Walker rejects the claim as “a flat-out lie,” but Walker’s son is now criticizing his father as well.
The woman, who preferred not to be identified publicly “out of privacy concerns,” fell pregnant with Walker’s child in 2009, according to The Daily Beast. Shortly after, according to her, Walker allegedly requested her to get an abortion.
The woman informed the outlet that she had indeed done it, and Walker had paid for everything. The woman allegedly provided a $575 abortion clinic bill, a “get well” card that Walker allegedly wrote to her, and “a bank deposit receipt that included an image of a signed $700 personal check from Walker.”
The assertions, according to Herschel, are total nonsense. He declared as much in a statement released shortly after the publication of the piece. Walker, a Republican running to defeat Sen. Raphael Warnock in Georgia’s midterm elections later this month, called “it’s disgusting, gutter politics.”
“I’m not taking this anymore. I planning to sue the Daily Beast for this defamatory lie.”
Shortly after his father’s denial, Christian Walker, a conservative, posted a video accusing the 60-year-old of having previously threatened to kill him and his family, among other things.
“I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us. You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”
“I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some ‘moral, Christian, upright man.’ You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you.”
Following Christian’s post, Herschel said, “I LOVE my son no matter what.” Prior to the elections on November 8, Herschel ran on an anti-abortion platform, describing himself as “a proud pro-life Christian” who “will always stand up for our unborn children.”
Herschel is currently dealing with some unexpected accusations, which are quite upsetting to him. Let’s see how he manages to disprove the woman. What do you think about the accusations, and are they true? Let us know in the comments. Keep checking Thirsty for more updates.
