JT and Cardi B have been feuding on Twitter, which was supposed to be private. However, in front of their millions of followers, the rap stars ended up subliminally swapping shots at each other. Lil Kim recently joined Cardi B’s team to show her support.
TMZ reports, Lil Kim is confirming her support for Cardi B, and it’s probably at the right time, considering her best friend is about to engage in a full-fledged rap war. The iconic rapper is set to kick off the revival of BET’s “Rap City.” Kim gushed about her friendship with Cardi in an upcoming interview with Big Tigger and even claimed to take her advice on managing life and career.
DJ Drama, Remy Ma, Rapsody, G Herbo, Ice Spice, and more will appear in the early episodes, premiering tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Kim’s support for Cardi is the latest development in the female rap battle. Following Cardi and City Girl rapper JT’s latest online spat, things are becoming extremely feisty.
JT congratulated GloRilla on Monday for her first entry into the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with her “Tomorrow 2” single, which features Cardi B. However, JT did not name Cardi, forcing supporters to take action. JT was recently featured on Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl (Remix),” and praising Cardi would have been considered a slap in the face in Barbz’s eyes.
However, Cardi was alerted by the Twitter chatter, and she proceeded to slam JT for needing her help to pad City Girls’ video stats. Cardi also claimed that JT hires writers to help with her songs. JT didn’t let the criticism go unnoticed and criticized Cardi in the same way, alleging she writes her own songs. Nicki entered the conflict by changing her Twitter image to a photo of JT, to which Cardi responded by changing her avatar to Nicki’s longstanding nemesis Remy Ma.
The fight has already started, and teams have been formed. Let’s see how it goes and who wins. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
