Rihanna is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February, next year. The singer already has a list of potential artists she wants to invite to join her on the stage. RiRi finally broke her silence on the upcoming performance and spoke about how she feels about it.
While speaking to TMZ, Rihanna said she feels “nervous” about the performance but is excited to hit the stage. The outlet interacted with her while she was shopping at Bristol Farms Tuesday in Los Angeles. Although she did not spoil who is going to be the guest performer, she did hint at her long-time bf A$AP Rocky as a possibility.
Last month, NFL picked Rihanna to perform at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. The singer accepted the offer and officially announced she’ll be breaking her six-year music hiatus for the performance. The move marks a long-awaited return to performing for the singer and fans are already rejoicing.
Earlier this month, Kanye West teased his involvement in RiRi’s halftime performance. The two have collaborated on several songs in the past, so if Ye decides to join her on the stage, they’ll have have plenty of options to choose from.
Apple Music announced in September that it will be the event’s main sponsor, replacing Pepsi and reportedly paying $50 million for the privilege. In the end, its up to Rihanna and the showrunners to decide who will be the guest performer. We will have to wait and see how it turns out.
