Tia Mowry Files For Divorce From Husband Cory Hardrict

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict met on the sets of their 2005 film Hollywood Horror. They dated for six years before eventually tying the knot in 2008. Now, after 14 years of marriage and two children together, Tia Mowry has filed for divorce from her husband.

According to reports from TMZ, Tia Mowry has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the divorce. However, the 44-year-old actress has requested joint physical and legal custody of their 11-year-old son Cree and four-year-old daughter Cairo.

Owing to a prenuptial agreement signed by Tia and her husband, there will be spousal support awarded to either parties. The Sister, Sister actress posted a statement addressing the split which read as follows:

“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives,” she wrote in Instagram.

This news comes as a shock to fans as just earlier this year, Tia and Cory celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary with the former saying that she loved Cory for 22 years and she will love him for a million more.
