Kanye West has frequently been in the news because of his campaign motto “Black lives matter”. Fans must have seen that the rapper smashes anyone who opposes him regarding his campaign. In his most recent outburst, Kanye West criticized Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey as well as John Legend and Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for going against his motto.
On Wednesday, Kanye West continued his social media rampage by targeting Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey. The model defended Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, a contributing editor for Vogue, when she criticized the rapper’s White Lives Matter clothing, prompting the 45-year-old artist to insult her on Instagram.
West addressed the Baby hitmaker directly in a piece that also mocked artist John Legend and the editor of Vogue, writing, “Justin get your girl before I get mad.” Additionally, he posted a screenshot of an E! News item with the comment, “Wait Am I canceled again???” that discussed Justin Bieber’s support for Karefa-Johnson.
Ye began the lengthy text by saying, “I wanna just let everybody know there was also some fashion this week also” in reference to his surprise Yeezy fashion show that took place on Monday in Paris.
“There was a major thing called fashion week which really last a month and there were some very well done crazy overpriced clothes being shown.”
“It wasn’t just about my paradigm shifting T shirt. Just kidding my tee s*** on every body’s showssss nothing happened but my t shirt,’ further adding, ‘remember my one t shirt took alllll the attention.”
“Because you’re all f***** programmed sheep aaaaaand those boots gab was wearing were f***** traaaasssh. But I’m sure John Legend still wants a pair.”
“My respect for you runs deep my friend! To know you is to adore you and to work with you is an honor. the most kind. the most talented. the most fun. the most chic”
Hailey posted a message to her Instagram Stories. Johnson has been in the spotlight because of the remarks. With models walking down the runway wearing WLM shirts, which were viewed as a rejection of the Black Lives Matter movement, West stirred some controversy with his Paris show on Monday.
In response to the contentious performance, his spokesperson Jason Lee resigned, claiming on Instagram that West was “gaslighting black people and empowering white supremacy.” “Very humble and thankful to Ye for the opportunity to work with him but that part of our relationship has come to an end,” he later wrote on his Instagram Story.
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson said the t-shirts were “deeply offensive, violent, and dangerous.” In response, West mocked her attire online and claimed she didn’t understand fashion.
However, a day later, he insisted that Karefa-Johnson was his “sister” and claimed that they had talked for two hours about the pointed-out difficulties. In another post on Wednesday West complimented DailyMail.com for being “really fair and positive”.
“GOD IS GOOD I’M USED TO ATTACKS FROM HOLLYWOOD ACTORS SO TO GET SUPPORT FOR STANDING MY GROUND IS AMAZING WE BROKE THE MIND CONTROL NOBODY IS TRAUMA DRUNK NO MORE GOD IS FIGHTING THIS BATTLE FOR US.”
Professor Tatishe M. Nteta said in an article that West is “not alone” in his criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement. He also posted a screenshot of the piece. In order to continue his posting binge, he shared a Hollywood Unlocked screenshot highlighting Diddy’s support for him. “God is love”, he wrote in the post’s caption.
