Kanye West has frequently been in the news because of his campaign motto “Black lives matter”. Justin Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, openly supported Vogue editor Gabriella-Karefa Johnson, who spoke out against Ye’s “White Lives Matter” shirt.
Justin recently expressed that he is “really quite bummed” that Kanye was targeting his wife on Instagram. “He had so much love and respect for the guy, and they’d been friends for many years,” an insider close to Justin informed Hollywood Life exclusively.
“Kanye has given Justin so much advice in the time he’s known him, and he has been a source of wisdom and advice.”
The insider stated that Justin has always “idolized” Kanye, before adding that this issue is “hurtful” to the Bieber family. Ironically, Justin recently paid tribute to the “Gold Digger” rapper on Instagram on his birthday. Ye helped “shape the artist I am today,” Justin stated at the time.
However, following the PFW fiasco, Kanye called Justin’s wife as “nose job Hailey Baldloose.” The rapper also included Justin in the drama, by uploading a screenshot of an E! Online headline discussing the drama and asking the “Baby” singer whether he was “canceled” in the caption.
“It was really a low blow to go after Hailey when she didn’t do anything wrong. Justin is torn on if he should respond to Kanye’s insults or not. Everyone around him in his camp is advising him against it. They all think that responding would just add fuel to his fire. Justin has enough to worry about right now than get caught up in this drama. He has moved on from drama years ago.”
Another source close to Justin, who recently postponed his world tour till 2023, said that he “wants absolutely nothing to do with the circus” that Ye has built in the wake of Paris Fashion Week. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
