Kim Kardashian is a fashion icon and a trendsetter in many ways. She is also a successful entrepreneur who knows what she wants and will go to any length to achieve it. However, her new podcast is taking over, as it recently shot to the top of Spotify’s “Top Podcasts” list.
This week, her major true crime project, “The System,” topped Spotify’s list of “Top Podcasts,” surpassing “The Joe Rogan Experience” and also the renowned “Call Her Daddy,” which were right behind her at #2 and #3, respectively. The fourth podcast was “Archetypes” by Meghan Markle, followed by “Huberman Lab,” “Crime Junkie,” “The Try Pod,” and “On Purpose with Jay Shetty.”
Given that the podcast is only a few days old, it’s quite remarkable. However, the first season of “The System” deals with the case of convicted murderer Kevin Keith, whom Kim initially thinks is innocent before digging into the details and facts.
It’s obvious that people are interested in hearing what she has to say in a podcast context, but as “The System” is a Spotify exclusive, it makes it difficult to predict how it might perform on other platforms.
In any case, she is fully committed to promoting it. It appears that Kim purchased some vintage billboard advertising in Calabasas to promote the podcast, with her face prominently displayed.
Only two episodes have been released so far in this. Also, it is unknown when more will be released or what kind of a schedule will be set for this. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
