Coolio’s Touring Partner Tone Loc Opens Up About Void Left After His Death

Coolio made a name for himself as a member of the Gangsta rap group WC and the Maad Circle, alongside WC and Crazy Toones. The rapper died unexpectedly, and the entire world continues to mourn his untimely demise.

Coolio died in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The rapper who rose to fame in the 1990s was visiting a friend late Wednesday afternoon when he died. Coolio’s longtime manager, Jarez, stated that Coolio went to the bathroom at his friend’s house but when he didn’t return after a while, the friend kept calling for him and ultimately walked in and found Coolio laying on the floor.

Coolio was pronounced dead on the scene when the friend called EMTs. While speaking to TMZ, Coolio’s fellow old-school rapper Tone Loc stated that Coolio’s death has left a huge void in his life.

Tone stated that Coolio, along with Young MC and the late Shock G, actually performed at his brother’s funeral around 16 years ago. He added that he and Coolio were regulars on the “I Love The 90s Tour” circuit for the past 6 years, as was Vanilla Ice.

His children also paid tribute to him in a huge way. Severe Asthma might also have led to his passing. Regardless, Coolio will live on forever.
