Blake Shelton Leaving The Voice After 12 Years

Blake Shelton is a singer and musician that has impacted the lives of many people with his Country music. His taste is incredible, and he continues to provide a state of awesomeness to the fans through his work. That being said, his fans will probably be bummed to hear this news.

It looks like the awesomeness will be halted for a while as the singer has decided to take a halt from the weekly show The Voice after his association with the show for 12 years. This announcement came suddenly, and no replacement has been announced yet.

According to the details shared by TMZ, Blake shared that he has been wrestling with the idea of whether he should leave the show or still be a part of it. The deliberation led to him reaching a decision that we would have to accept.

Blake Shelton jumped on Instagram and he let fans know about this career decision via a story.

I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away I from The Voice after next season.
This show has changed my life in every way for the better and It will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone st The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best. It takes a lot of work, Passion, and adult beverages (flat) to Pull off a live show twice a week.

I’ve made lifelong hoods with Carson and every single one my fellow coaches over the years, including my wife Gwen Stefani!
I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers – the ‘Voices,’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coach.

Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams.

Blake Shelton believes that the show has helped him improve his relationship with his wife Gwen Stefani and host Carson Daly. It does take conscious effort to be a part of the show for more than a decade.

Blake also showered thanks to those that chose him as his coach. He believes that this association has helped him connect with some great minds, and he hopes to be influential to those that have come in contact with him.

Obviously, this will be a big change for The Voice. Only time will tell how the show continues after losing Blake Shelton.
