Elon Musk is a controversial personality, but he’s also fascinating to boot. The Tesla CEO became a father of 10 after welcoming twins last November. In the past, Musk has expressed his concern about declining birth rates, stating that he is doing his part to father as many children as possible. He recently hinted at welcoming more kids in the future.
The Billionaire, who is 51 appeared for an interview with Financial Times and opened up about his future family plans. He also talked about what it’s like being a father of 10.
When asked if he has any other kids the media is unaware of, the SpaceX founder said, “I’m pretty sure there are no other babies looming.” However, he did say that he may welcome more children in the future so long as he can be a good father to them
As noted earlier, Musk secretly fathered twins with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at his Neuralink company. The twins were born last November, just a few weeks after Musk and his then-girlfriend Grimes welcomed their second child.
Musk’s first child was born in 2002, and his most recent in 2021. He shares his first six children with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson. Musk and Grimes have two kids.
When news of the billionaire secretly welcoming twins first circulated on social media, Musk tweeted, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”
The CEO of SpaceX is the world’s richest man and has been involved in several environmental initiatives. Fathering as many kids as he can appears to be a part of it.
