Brandy ‘Following Doctors’ Orders’ After Seizure-Induced Hospitalization

Brandy Norwood has had a tough year after facing multiple lawsuits. Her year keeps getting worse as she was recently rushed to the hospital due to a possible seizure. Brandy is currently “following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need.”

The singer may have had a seizure, according to TMZ, although neither Brandy nor her representatives have confirmed this. In a message earlier this afternoon, Brandy said that her hospitalization was caused by “dehydration and insufficient amounts of nutrients.” Brandy took to Twitter to thank everyone for all the support and prayers.

To my beloved fam, friends, and stars thank you for sending love and light my way. I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon. [heart emoji] [star emoji]

On October 11th at around noon, emergency services were called to the singer and actor’s Los Angeles home, according to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ. Her parents were with her at the hospital as of Wednesday morning, the publication’s story added.

Brandy’s reps did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment. The Grammy winner experienced a health crisis in June 2017 while flying on Delta Air Lines, resulting in firefighters and paramedics being called to the Los Angeles International Airport to take her to the hospital.
