Kodak Black is undeniably one of Hip-Hop’s most controversial rappers. Black is also a very vocal rapper. Saucy Santana recently accused Kodak Black of stealing his song “Walk.”
Saucy Santana appears to be accusing Kodak Black of stealing his song “Walk.” Last night, October 12, TheShadeRoom released side-by-side photographs of 2022 XXL Freshman Saucy Santana and Kodak Black wearing the same clothing. In the post, they asked their fans who wore the look best.
Yak chimed in the comment section posting, “All lives matter,” along with orange heart and shoulder shrug emojis. However, Saucy had a much different response. “#TSBroStoleMySong,” the “Material Girl” rapper commented.
Saucy Santana appears to be referring to the release of his song “Walk” in June 2021. Kodak Black released a song called “Spin” last month. In the chorus of both songs, the word “walk” appears several times.
Uh, yeah, hoe, yeah, I know that you can talk/You talkin’ all that sh*t, but let me see if you walk/Uh, let me see you walk (Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk).
Kodak’s Tye Beats-produced track finds him rhyming, “Walkin’ and slidin’ and steppin’ and spinnin’/And standin’ on b*tches and standin’ on business/Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk,” on his chorus. Both videos have a model runway theme. People on social media have pointed out the similarities.
“Biiii*ch they say Saucy Santana song Walk is for the gworlz & Kodak Black song is for the gannnng!” one person tweeted along with crying laughing emojis. “Feminine version and masculine Version,” someone else posted in ShadeRoom’s comments. “I feel like it’s the same words but two different vibes,” someone else added.
Kodak Black’s song appears on his upcoming album Kutthroat Bill Vol. 1. Let’s see how Kodak responds. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
