After being forced to retire from professional wrestling in 2011, Edge turned to acting in an attempt to try something he hadn’t done before. However, he just couldn’t deal with the fact that his WWE career didn’t end on his own terms, and he returned to the ring in 2020.
However, it now seems that Edge will be making a move back to acting. As reported by WWE.com, Edge is set to star in the Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians which is expected to drop in 2024.
It was also reported that Edge will start as Ares, the God of War,War in a recurring. It appears that Edge’s recent haircut could have been due to this role, but that hasn’t been 100% confirmed yet.
Edge can gladly add this to his already impressive list of movies he has done in the past such as Vikings, Haven, and Bending the Rules.
