Deshaun Watson, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, has been suspended for breaching the NFL’s personal conduct code. Watson returned to the Browns training facility on Monday. It appears, the athlete is now facing another sexual misconduct lawsuit in Texas.
According to TMZ, a massage therapist alleged the Browns quarterback forced her to have oral sex for him during a therapy session in 2020 at a hotel in the Houston region. The licensed therapist alleged the now 27-year-old Watson contacted her by Instagram DM in December 2020 and asked for a massage in the lawsuit, which was filed Thursday in Harris county under the name “Jane Doe.”
The therapist, who was working from home during Covid, claimed that she consented to meet Deshaun at The Houstonian, a nearby hotel. At the hotel, Watson allegedly removed his towel during the massage and offered to let her “climb on top.” Watson was able to force the Plaintiff into oral sex with the Defendant despite her refusal to have sex with him.
The therapist, who generally bills $115 an hour, said the quarterback gave her $300 after their session. According to the lawsuit, the woman claimed that as a result of her encounter with Deshaun, she has “suffered from significant despair and anxiety.”
The lawsuit is not part of the group of suits settled out of court by Watson, and the filing comes just days after he was permitted to return to Browns practice. Deshaun is serving an 11-game suspension over the previous allegations against the QB. Watson’s representatives have yet to comment on the lawsuit. Stay tuned to Thirsty for further updates.
