Draymond Green reportedly took a break from the Golden State Warriors after hitting Jordan Poole in the face. The assault on Poole was even caught on camera only to worsen the situation. Green has expressed his sincere regret for what occurred, and the Warriors organization has since penalized him.
Green has reunited with the team now, and he wants to move on. It can be challenging to do so, and it will be difficult to get back on track following his outburst.
According to TMZ, Green just told the media that he is aware of this. In fact, he isn’t entirely certain that his bond with Poole has been restored. In Green’s opinion, Poole should make that choice.
“I’m not sure. As I said before, that’s not up to me. Nor do I think there’s much relevance. Quite frankly, we both know how to play basketball and that is the most important for us. We’re paid to do a job and we’re gonna come and do that job to the best of our ability. We wanna continue to win so we gonna do what we have to do to win.”
This recent ordeal with the Warriors will make them interesting to watch this season. Since this squad has already gone through it, it’s pretty expected that the cohesion won’t be significantly impacted. Stay tuned to Thirsty to get the latest updates.
