Mark Wahlberg has had an incredible career in Hollywood, the actor is also a huge fan of sports. He also prioritizes his family over anything. Wahlberg recently left his $90 million LA mansion to give kids a “better life.”
Mark Wahlberg bought the house in Summerlin, Nevada back in July. The “Father Stu” actor admitted that he relocated his family out of their opulent $90 million California estate and into storage in search of a “better life.” Wahlberg discussed the “biggest challenge” he confronts in juggling his profession and being a husband and father on the recent episode of “The Talk.”
I want to be able to work from home. I moved to California many years ago to pursue acting, and I’ve only made a couple of movies in the entire time that I was there. So, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us.
Wahlberg has four children Ella, Michael, Brendan, and Grace with his wife of 13 years, Rhea Durham. Wahlberg put his Beverly Hills house on the market in April for a staggering $87.5 million. He paid just $8.25 million for the enormous 30,500-square-foot estate back in 2009.
The mansion has a home theatre, a wine cellar, a five-hole golf course, a tennis court, a skate park, and a separate guest house in addition to its 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms. The “Uncharted” actor bought his family a magnificent mansion in Nevada after deciding to sell his lavish property in California. Stay tuned to Thirsty for the latest news and updates.
