Russell Westbrook’s abilities speak for themselves. However, it appears that his fortune is going well these days. Recently, Russell Westbrook was demoted by the Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers experience with Russell Westbrook has been tremendously challenging. He hasn’t been able to gel with his teammates, and he frequently comes off as uninterested. This was particularly apparent yesterday when many videos revealed Russ to be absent from team huddles.
Some online detectives have discovered that this was not really a big thing and was just one of his regular rituals. In any case, Russ’ performance in Los Angeles has not been fantastic, and Darvin Ham is attempting to determine the optimum position for his point guard. Unfortunately, that new position comes with a temporary downgrade.
According to updated tweets from Adrian Wojnarowski, Darvin Ham intended to use Russ as a substitute during the final preseason contest in training camp. In essence, the Lakers believe that Russ might excel in this role because it will provide him the opportunity to be the second-primary unit’s ball handler.
In any case, the star point guard has been demoted, albeit it might only be temporary if he doesn’t click with the supporting cast. What’s your take on Russell’s demotion? Let us know in the comments. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
