Eminem is a legend in the music industry or the rap business. He goes above and beyond to give his listeners an experience that is exemplary in every sense of the word. Next summer, Eminem might travel across the Atlantic to perform at Glastonbury.
According to The Sun, the 49-year-old rapper is reportedly in negotiations to perform at the enormous festival in Worthy Farm in England. He had never performed at the renowned festival before. A source informed the outlet about Eminem’s demand.
Eminem is wanted for a huge slot at Glastonbury and has been in talks for yonks. His dates all line up and if they can get him on board, it will be the first time he has ever played at the festival. Eminem is one of the greatest rappers on the planet and to have him down on the farm would be incredible. There is also a huge nostalgia factor with Eminem. He has been around for over 25 years and everyone knows his music. It would be a really special moment, not just for him but for everyone at the festival. The organizers think he will sign on the dotted line and they can get things moving.
The announcement of Eminem’s potential headlining role followed the release of his latest album, Curtain Call: The Hits 2, which is a follow-up to his 2005 album Curtain Call: The Hits. Like its predecessor, Curtain Call: The Hits 2 acts as a greatest hits collection, therefore many of the songs are well-known to fans.
Eminem also released a joint album called From the D 2 the LBC with rapper Snoop Dogg in addition to his greatest hits collection. The song marks the only other occasion the two Dr. Dre students have worked together and it serves to officially put an end to their animosity. In February, the pair performed together at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Stay tuned Thirsty for the latest news and updates.
