Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were one of the most passionate couples in the industry, but they broke up a few months back. However, it appears that Kim still has got a friend in Pete, as they were reportedly in touch with each other through texts amid the new Kanye West drama.
The comedian has reportedly been “reaching out” to his ex Kim for support despite their separation in the midst of ongoing drama with Ye. According to a source speaking exclusively to Hollywood Life, “A lot of people have been reaching out to offer Kim support, including Pete [Davidson].” The new drama, however, includes Ye’s recent extremely offensive anti-Semitic posts and wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt during Paris Fashion Week.
“He’s in the middle of shooting another movie but he’s been in touch. He’s such a sweet guy and Kim’s grateful they can still be friends,” the insider continued, referencing his latest project Dumb Money with Seth Rogen and Shailene Woodley.
“Pete and Kim still talk on occasion and several weeks after the break up, they had gotten to a place of being cordial with each other. Pete has texted Kim a few times about the whole Kanye situation because he still cares about her as a person and wanted to check in to see how she was doing.”
Prior to his most recent shocking social media remarks, Kanye has been ranting about Pete all last Fall on Instagram. He unfairly referred to the SNL performer as “Skete,” then included an animated depiction of the comedian in his “Eazy” music video. In the video, which infuriated viewers, Ye can be seen burying an animated version of Pete.
