Elon Musk Believes His Ex Grimes Was ‘Created By’ His Mind As A ‘Perfect Companion’

Elon Musk certainly needs no introduction. He might be the wealthiest man in the world, but he is not without his fair share of controversies. However, according to recent reports, Musk thinks that his ex-girlfriend Grimes was a “perfect companion” that he “created” in his mind and ‘wasn’t real.’

According to Devin Gordon in the brand-new BBC docuseries The Elon Musk Show, the Tesla CEO believed the singer to be “a simulation created by him” during their relationship, The Sun claimed. According to further details given by Devin, Grimes came to him with the crazy theory and didn’t think it was as ridiculous as it would sound.

“She told me repeatedly that Musk has this theory of her that she’s not real. That she’s a simulation who was created by him and exists in his cerebral cortex as sort of the perfect companion to him. Which sounds a little crazy and maybe even a little creepy, except, she agrees with it. She said she does feel like this simulation, which was perfectly created for him.”

In a different part of the docuseries, Devin seems to have added that even if Elon and Grimes concur on the weird theory, they got along well because of a terrifying thought experiment. “They both made a similar nerdy joke about a scary AI theory of the future called Roko’s Basilisk, which I don’t really even get,” he said. “And her interests are all the same as his and her music is very technologically oriented.”

After three years of dating, the once-steady couple broke up in September 2021, although Grimes has maintained there is “no real word” for their present position. “I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid,” she previously stated to Vanity Fair.

“We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time…. We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it.”

Elon’s two ex-wives also appear in the docuseries and share their thoughts on their time spent with the tycoon.  According to Justine Musk, who was married to Elon from 2000 to 2008, she learned he was divorcing her via their marriage counselor. Talulah Riley, who married Elon twice, also talked about his softer side of him, according to The Sun.
