Ezra Miller has been part of an ever-growing list of scandals in recent years. Legal troubles have always followed the Flash actor, wherever they went. The latest chapter in the troubled actor’s life has poised them to enter a not-guilty plea for liquor theft.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller pleaded not guilty Monday to stealing liquor bottles from a neighbor’s home. The 30-year-old actor and their lawyer appeared in court remotely from Burlington, Vermont, on a felony burglary charge. They agreed to the condition that they will refrain from contacting the owners or visit the house.

The case goes back to May 1st, when Vermont State Police responded to a burglary report in Stamford and discovered numerous bottles of alcohol had been stolen from a property while the homeowner was gone.

According to the police affidavit, the homeowner stated he had been friends with Miller for nearly 18 years and acquired the property a year and a half ago in the community where Miller had also purchased a home. Miller was charged after police reviewed security video and interviewed witnesses.

Miller has been involved in a slew of legal problems in the last year alone. Bodycam footage from a March incident on the Big Island appears to show Ezra becoming violent with officers while being detained.
