Jordan Poole became embroiled in a major dispute after Draymond Green hit him hard recently. Everyone was able to witness how intense the punch was after the incident was caught on camera and the video leaked online.
Green received a fine after that and even took some time for himself. Green is now officially back with the club, though, and everyone is attempting to settle in before the regular season, which starts this week.
Poole has experienced a lot over the past several weeks, although Poole’s four-year, $140 million contract likely lessens the blow. He said to reporter Madeline Kenney that winning right now and extending the Warriors’ dynasty are his sole concerns.
“We’re here to win a championship and keep hanging banners.”
Given everything that has happened recently, that is a wonderful mentality to have, and someone like Green can appreciate it. The Warriors are a club that is trying to win the championship again, and with this mentality, it is possible that they will be the team to beat out East again.
