TMZ Hip Hop spotted the Grammy winner in disguise at LAX. The outlet tried to gather updates about the long-awaited follow-up to her 2017 monster album “Ctrl.” The album yielded five platinum singles. SZA stated that her next album could be released any day now. This might be today or in February 2048. She is, nevertheless, hopeful that fans will enjoy the music.
SZA has breadcrumbed even more platinum singles after the debut of “Ctrl,” including “Good Days,” “Hit Different,” and “I Hate U,” and she claims she has another 100 unreleased tracks. There has never been a clear explanation for SZA’s album delay. She and TDE President Terrence “Punch” Henderson have traded blame for years in the public eye but still have no project.
He recently went on Math Hoffa’s ‘Expert Opinion’ podcast, where he appeared to transfer the hot potato to her, implying that the record will be released whenever she is ready. Let’s see when that happens. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
