Talk Of Sacha Baron Cohen Joining The Marvel Universe

The character of Mephisto has been rumored to be involved with the MCU for a couple of years now from Wandavision and all the way to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now we may have an actor being cast in the role finally.

According to Deadline, a source close to the production confirmed there have been talks about Cohen being part of the Ironheart Disney+ limited series. Marvel and Cohen’s representatives had no comment when asked to confirm this report.

The word going around is that Cohen will appear in other projects if the Mephisto alter ego is confirmed, The upcoming WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos as Mephisto is a possibility.

This past weekend, rumors started spreading on social media when multiple comic-focused Twitter accounts reported on the story of Cohen’s casting as a villain. The attention to Mephisto fuels the theory of his role.

Ironheart was created by Chinaka Hodge and stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor, and creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. Anthony Ramos, Manny Montana, Shakira Barrera, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Shea Couleé, and Zoe Terakes also stars.
