Tom Brady is a phenomenon who is constantly in the headlines due to his ongoing controversy. Brady was unable to precisely balance his personal and professional lives; as a result, divorce is now taking place. Tom Brady has acknowledged that it is difficult to focus on his personal life during the season.
On this week’s episode of the quarterback’s “Let’s Go” podcast, the star of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers opened up about his difficulty striking a work-life balance. The 45-year-old said that despite his efforts to emphasize specific facets of his off-field life during the football season, he always ends up bogged down in his work.
“The reality is you can really only be authentic to yourself. Right? Whatever you may say — ‘Ah, man, I want to, you know, make sure I spend a little more time doing this during the season,’ the reality is, is when it comes down to it, your competitiveness takes over and as much as you want to have this playful balance with the work balance — you’re going to end up doing exactly what you’ve always done, which is why you are who you are.”
The words seem to provide more insight into Brady and Gisele Bünchden’s marital problems. She had always wished for him to give up football and devote more time to his family. But he’s making it apparent that he finds it quite difficult to do that. In fact, he claimed he actually reached the stage in the fall and winter when wins and defeats are the only things he thinks about.
“You’re going to go, ‘How the f*** do I get it done? What do I got to do for my teammates to get it done?'”
Gisele has reportedly split up with Tom due to his football compulsion, and the couple has already begun the divorce process by engaging well-known South Florida family law attorneys. What’s your take on the couple’s divorce? Let us know in the comments. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
