Chris D’Elia’s career imploded in 2020 when multiple women accused him of sexual improprieties. The comedian was recently hit with a temporary restraining order by his accuser. Now, a judge has refused the woman’s request for court-ordered protection from Chris D’Elia, who she accused of threatening to share personal videos of her.
TMZ reported, D’Elia insisted from the start that he’d never met Caroline Schmitz, despite the fact that Schmitz had repeatedly threatened him and his family via social media messages. Yet, she was the one who sought a restraining order against him.
Chris appeared in court with his attorney Andrew Brettler on Wednesday while Schmitz failed to appear before the judge. Additionally, the judge dismissed the request for a permanent restraining order. Initially, Schmitz obtained a temporary restraining order against Chris last month, alleging they met in 2017 and hooked up many times.
According to Schmitz, Chris apparently contacted Schmitz on OnlyFans in May, threatening to expose intimate tapes she’d made and telling her she needed to leave Los Angeles. The outlet obtained some of the deranged audio messages Schmitz sent to D’Elia where she threatens harm to his family.
“Have me killed or leave me the f*** alone – I’d die to get the hell away from your evil ass.”
Meanwhile, D’Elia has been ordered to delete or destroy any intimate or private images, videos or audio recordings of Schmitz “whether genuine or artificially created,” and has been barred from sharing them. You can check out the clips obtained by TMZ below.
