Kanye West frequently makes news because he enjoys stoking controversies. Fans may have been following Kanye West’s recent controversy; now Kanye West criticizes DJ Akademiks, Charlamagne Tha God, and Peter Rosenberg.
Kanye West’s narrative goes on. Ye has received criticism for his antisemitic and anti-Black Lives Matter remarks over the past few weeks, but he is continuing with his verbal assault on just about everyone.
West targeted numerous prominent members of the hip-hop media with his most recent attack. A video of the 45-year-old musician/entrepreneur responding to his detractors was published by The Daily Mail.
In response to N.O.R.E.’s apology to George Floyd’s family, Kanye West was questioned. Ye incorrectly claimed Floyd passed away from a heroin overdose rather than through police brutality. West seemed to be forgiving to the Drink Champs host. He then focused on Peter Rosenberg, a radio host on Hot 97.
“N.O.R.E. is my brother. He’s under a lot of pressure. If you look at the first thing it says – ‘N.O.R.E. does an interview with Rosenberg.’ What’s the exact thing I was saying? I said the Jewish media controls so many things.”
“It’s not all the Jewish people, but there’s specifically Jewish people in media that are in power that try to… they’ve bought the Black voice, but they haven’t been able to buy my voice. So instead they blackball me, they threaten people to not interview me.”
Kanye West also had harsh words for DJ Akademiks of Off the Record and Charlamagne Tha God of The Breakfast Club. Ye made an attempt to connect the Black Hip-Hop talking heads to a larger plot.
“Jewish media, Black media, trauma culture, trauma economy – the stuff that Charlamagne Tha God works for. The stuff that Rosenberg works for… The guys that Akademiks… You gotta understand. All these people that y’all are listening to out here, I’m gonna tell y’all, they’re getting their checks cut.”
The latest actions of Kanye West have drawn harsh criticism from both Peter Rosenberg and Charlamagne Tha God. Ye was criticized for his questionable remarks and deeds by a number of other celebrities, including Jaden Smith and Boosie Badazz.
Damon “Dame” Dash, Kanye West’s former manager at Roc-A-Fella Records, has expressed concern for the father of four. Dash effectively reprimanded the media for allowing West to be interviewed while he might be experiencing a bipolar manic episode.
“Why [would] you put the camera on him instead of sending him a prescription or a doctor or some therapist? Let’s have some compassion for a man that may be not so well at that moment. If he told you transparently that he has a problem, respect it.”
However, Kanye West continued to stir up controversy without considering the future. The explosion Ye made may now take on a massive form. Let’s see what happens after that. What do you think about Ye’s statement? Let us know in the comments. Keep checking Thirsty for more updates.
