Will Smith married his first wife Sheree Zampino in 1992. The couple gave birth to a son Willard Carroll “Trey” Smith III before they divorced in 1995. As Will Smith’s relationship with Sheree Zampino was starting to deteriorate, Jada Pinkett Smith entered the picture.
During a recent episode of Red Table Talk, which featured Sheree Zampino and Jada Pinkett-Smith, the duo reflected on how Sheree Zampino and Will Smith were able to foster a healthy relationship even after getting divorced. “Not together romantically but if he’s going on a book tour and [Will’s] mom is going and his sister, it’s fun for me to watch them enjoy each other. It takes time though — we’re not having trouble, everyone.”
Earlier in the episode, Sheree Zampino and Jada Pinkett-Smith reminisced about the mid ’90s when Jada Pinkett-Smith entered the picture as her marriage with Will Smith was deteriorating. Soon after getting divorced from Sheree Zampino in 1995, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith tied the knot in 1997.
