Alec Baldwin made headlines last year, but for all the wrong reasons. As we reported earlier, in what was ruled an accident, Alec Baldwin allegedly fired a prop gun, which ended up lethally wounding cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The accidental shooting on the set of Rust had to be one of the more tragic issues in filmmaking history.
DailyMail reported Alec Baldwin was spotted with his family at his Vermont hideaway on the first anniversary of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ death. In the images obtained by the outlet, Baldwin could be seen playing with one of his seven children outside in the autumn sunshine on the grounds of his property in Arlington, near Manchester.
Fans criticized the 64-year-old actor earlier on Friday after he shared a photo of late Hutchins with a camera with the caption: ‘One year ago today.’ Social media followers dubbed the celebrity ‘disgraceful’ and demanded that he be ‘held accountable.’
Despite a year of legal wrangling, public fighting, and litigation, no one has been charged or even arrested in Hutchins’ death. Baldwin has claimed that it was an accident, and not his fault. Meanwhile, friends of Hutchins gathered at her California gravesite during the day leaving flowers, candy and a photograph of the beloved cinematographer.
Fresh flowers were placed behind her headstone and a container of candy was left with the message ‘Have something sweet in honor of Halyna’ written on it. The grace with which they held themselves made Baldwin’s social media posting all the more crass. You can check out the images below.
