Conor McGregor previously revealed that he will not be making his return to the UFC as a lightweight. Following Islam Makchachev’s title-earning UFC 280 main event victory Saturday in Abu Dhabi, McGregor posted a series of tweets, taking a shot at the champion.
The Notorious One was critical of Makhachev’s second-round submission against Charles Oliveira. He then indicated that he has the tools to defeat Makhachev when needed.
Dana White also recently revealed the condition for Conor McGregor’s return. We will have to wait and see when he will be returning to the Octagon.
