Zac Efron had a great physique even before he was cast to play wrestler Kevin Von Erich in “The Iron Claw.” Now, fans are finally able to see what Zac Efron will really look like in the new film.
Recently, a new photo of Zac Efron in his Kevin Von Erich look went viral on social media. According to Daily Mail, Efron was snapped wandering around in his towel on the set of the film in Louisiana.
The former teenage heartthrob looked almost unrecognizable as he showed off his insane transformation for the role. Efron bulked up in a major way to play Kevin Von Erich, who himself was billed 6 ft 3 and weighed 222 lbs during his prime.
Zac Efron developed a tan with a bowl style wig on his head to recreate Kevin Von Erich’s look. For those not in the know, Kevin Von Erich is a former WCWA World Heavyweight Championship.
The Iron Claw is a drama based on the legendary Von Erich family, led by its patriarch Fritz Von Erich. The title of the film is based on Von Erich’s legendary finishing hold.
