Sausage Party Returning As Television Series On Amazon Prime

Sausage Party from 2016 became a cult classic for many reasons after being released in theatres. Now the brand is becoming a franchise with a new television series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, A new TV spin-off series based on the animated movie Sausage Party is in the works at Amazon. The show is titled Sausage Party: Foodtopia.

Original stars Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton are returning for the show. Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester will also star among the voice cast of Sausage Party: Foodtopia,

Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, who produced and co-write the film, will executive produce and serve as showrunners on the series. Conrad Vernon, The movie’s director, is also on board as a supervising director and will executive produce with Rogen, Goldberg, James Weaver, Alex McAtee, Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, and Andrew Millstein.

Sausage Party: Foodtopia will be released in 2024. Gonna be great!
