Shawn Michaels is certainly one of the best in-ring performers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. He was touted as Mr. WrestleMania, and he truly lived up to the name. He also started training Logan Paul for a random reason.
Michaels is currently the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative for NXT. He primarily focuses on cultivating the talent of the latest batch of NXT stars and he even started training Logan Paul.
While speaking on a recent “NXT” media call, Michaels admitted he only “knew of” Logan Paul and regarded Paul as a “bright kid” and as “somebody that committed” following his performance at WrestleMania this year. He also started training Paul because he was curious.
“When he jumps into something, he’s going to go all in. He works really hard. So I was curious to … see how much time and effort he was putting into this.”
We’ll have to see if Paul has any chance against Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th. The odds are certainly stacked against him.
